14–15 SEPTEMBER 2026 · KOHA BISTRO
until early bird pricing ends · 31 August 2026
WHAT IT IS
For two days this September, KOHA Bistro becomes something you get to study rather than just sit in. Texture, lighting, seating and flow are quietly making decisions about how you feel in a room — and most of the time you never notice them working.
This pop-up slows that down. You walk the space with the people who designed it. You hear why a surface was chosen and what it was competing against. You hold the material in your hands while someone explains what each layer is doing. Then the room changes function entirely and you have a meal in it.
WHAT YOU'LL EXPERIENCE
A guided walkthrough
Read the space the way a designer reads it — entrance, seating, light, flow. We'll point at specific corners and explain what's happening there and why it was decided that way.
A conversation, not a talk
KOHA and the Unicraft ID team, live and unscripted. No slides being read to you. You can interrupt, and you're meant to.
How a texture is built
A plain surface becomes a finished texture, layer by layer. You'll see what happens between "bare board" and "finished wall" — a stretch most people never get to look at.
Samples in your hands
Hold each layer as it's explained. Look, touch, compare. The difference between the third and fourth layer is the part that surprises everyone.
A curated dining experience
A three-course menu by KOHA, served in the space you just learned to read. Lunch on the 14th, dinner on the 15th, with an event menu card at every table.

WHO YOU'LL HEAR FROM

KOHA · FOUNDER
On what he wants a guest to feel walking in, and how seating, lighting and flow decide whether people stay or leave.

UNICRAFT · CO-FOUNDER
On why a space has to be experienced physically, and what gets lost when a room only ever exists as a photograph.

UNICRAFT · CHEIF OF INTERIOR DESIGNER
On translating a feeling into material decisions — and why texture behaves completely differently under changing light.

WHAT YOU'LL LEAVE WITH
A repeatable set of things to look at — entrance, seating, light, flow — that works in any space you walk into afterwards.
Depth, shadow, surface feeling. Enough vocabulary to describe what you want instead of pointing at a photo and saying "like this".
Having compared four layers by hand, you'll notice surfaces differently for a long time afterwards.
Owners, designers and architects who came for the same reason. The evening session runs into an after-party for exactly this.
BEFORE YOU BOOK
No. Unicraft is hosting it and the walls at KOHA are ours, so the work does get discussed openly — but there's no pricing presentation and nobody will be handed a quotation. If you want to talk about a project afterwards, we're happy to, and it's on you to raise it.
Not at all. The session is built for people who feel things about spaces without necessarily having the words for them. Designers and architects will still get plenty out of it — the material layers in particular.
The content is the same. The atmosphere isn't. The morning session runs in daylight and finishes with lunch; the evening session opens with dinner, runs through the session under lamplight, and continues into an after-party. Pick the one that fits your day.
Yes. A curated three-course menu by KOHA is included in both passes — lunch on the 14th, dinner on the 15th. Wine and additional drinks are available on order and are not included.
Complete the RSVP form and upload your payment confirmation. Seats are limited to 38 per session and are confirmed only once payment is received — the form doesn't hold a seat on its own. You'll get a confirmation message from our team after we verify payment.
Confirmed payments are non-refundable. Seats are capped and the kitchen prepares against confirmed numbers in advance. You're welcome to send someone in your place — just let us know the name beforehand.
Yes — RSVP can be done on behalf of your friend or colleague. Just make sure they are well informed. Or send them the link so they can do it on their own.
There's a field for it in the RSVP form and it goes straight to the kitchen. KOHA will accommodate where they can, though specific substitutions can't be guaranteed.
Come as you would to dinner — no dress code. Venue and parking details are sent with your confirmation message.
RESERVE YOUR SEAT
Your seat is confirmed once payment is verified by our team. Confirmed payments are non-refundable. By submitting the form you agree to Unicraft using your details for event registration, confirmation and related contact under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
